Hello Davesh,
You haven't specified which entrance exam you are appearing in. Let me tell you that there is no specific image specification that is uniform across all the exams, so you need to check with the individual exams. For example, in case of JEE Main 2018 the prescribed signature size is 1 KB to 30 KB, dimension is 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
However, the image size for filling WBJEE 2018 application is 3 KB to 30 KB and dimensions dimensions: 4 cm x 1.5 cm.
