What is the criteria of open and closed states in admission for mbbs ?

As NEET 2021 counseling are about to begin in upcoming days it is important for one to know about the various colleges one has chances of getting admission in.

anyone who has qualified NEET Examination can participate in All India Quota Counseling and get admission in college anywhere in India.

But for state counseling you can participate in state counseling only if you have Domicile of that state.

Also there are few states in India which allows students from other states to take admission in Medical colleges, but these admission are in private medical colleges only.Students can participate  in these state counselling  irrespective of their domicile.

Here are few states where you can take part in state counseling and get medical college seats -

• Karnataka - the state offers various types of management seats.

• Uttar Pradesh - 100 % seats are open for all.

• Haryana - 50 % seats are open for all.

• Madhya Pradesh - Allows students from 2nd round

• Rajasthan - Allows students from 2nd round.

Closed state don’t allow other state student and apart from the aforementioned states all other are closed states.
