Netaji Subhas University of Technology also known as NSUT is one of the top engineering institutes in Delhi and offers admissions to various BTech programs through the Joint Admission Counselling or JAC Delhi process. Seats are allotted based on JEE Main rank category and region quota.
The category wise cutoff ranks for SC candidates from outside Delhi region are different for each BTech specialization and vary from one counselling round to another. Here are the approximate closing category ranks for SC outside Delhi candidates based on previous year data particularly from Round 5 of JAC Delhi

• For Computer Science and Engineering the closing category rank was around 25500
• For Information Technology the closing rank was close to 21874
• Electronics and Communication Engineering closed between category rank 12500 and 13000
• Mathematics and Computing which is also a high demand branch closed around category rank 28500
• Mechanical Engineering had a closing rank of about 39563
• Instrumentation and Control Engineering closed around category rank 42000
• Civil Engineering closed at around category rank 45000
• Biotechnology which is a relatively less opted branch had a closing rank of approximately 64000
These ranks give a general idea of the minimum marks or ranks needed to get a seat in NSUT for each branch under the SC outside Delhi category. However it is important to note that these ranks may fluctuate each year depending on the total number of applicants difficulty level of the JEE Main exam and availability of seats in each round.
Candidates from outside Delhi falling under the SC category should aim for a JEE Main category rank below 25000 for top branches and up to 60000 for core or lesser opted branches to stay within a safe zone for seat allotment
