According, to last year cut off you need to score 81 marks in JEE Main in general category to get qualified for JEE Advanced.

Cut off can be vary this year as it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, difficulty level of the exam and previous year trends.

To take admission in NITs you should try to score more then 130 marks in your JEE Main in general category other state quota.

Cut off marks varies as per the branches as well.

To take admission in top branches like CSE in top NITs you should score more then 230 marks in your exam.

JEE Main exam is going to be conducted on 8th April in offline mode whereas the Online mode exam is on 15th and 16th April 2018

The Last year cutoff for JEE Main Exam was as follows

General -81 Marks

OBC -49 Marks

SC-32 Marks

ST-27 Marks

If you clear the JEE Main Exam you can get admissionin the NITs and other engineering colleges of India. The JEE Advance Form is going to be filled by 2nd May 2018 and the exam is on 20th May 2018. JEE Advanced provides a competition for the top 224000 students those who appeared in the JEE Main Exam.

With the result announcement of JEE Main on April 30, 2018, JAB will announce the qualifying cutoff of JEE Main 2018 for JEE Advanced 2018. Apart from this qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced 2018, JAB will release JEE Main 2018 cutoff for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs)
