What is the diff. between mba and mba executive..??
Hello Shruti,
There are several differences between MBA and Executive MBA. Some of these differences are:
Duration: MBA is a full two-year programme, whereas EMBA is full time one year programme.
Eligibility Criteria: For regular MBA a candidate is required to pass the competitive exam, there is no need for work experience. However, in EMBA a minimum of five years of work experience is required by top institutes.
Candidates: Candidates for regular MBA are fresh graduates, whereas for EMBA candidates are working professionals with years of experience behind them.
Course: In regular MBA a student is first introduced to the fundamentals in the first year, after which they choose their specialisations in the second year. Since EMBA students are professionals, their learning focuses more on practical aspects and it is more interactive.
Hope this was of help and all the best!
Hi Shruti,
MBA Executive program is generally for the candidates who have professional work experience and further wish to learn the nuances of the management while MBA program is for freshers or other management candidates who simply wish to study management after graduation.
Hope that's helpful.
