what is the difference between BA pass & BA Honours?

BA Programme and BA Honours both are 3 years courses. These two are both academic degrees, they only have a very slight difference.
The difference between BA and BA(Hons) is this that in simple B.A student doesn’t specialize in any particular subject of choice. If a student is pursuing B.A or Bachelor in Arts, then it is required to study around 3-5 subjects considered to be a part of Arts education or Humanities like History, Geography, Political Science, Environmental Science etc.
If a student pursue B.A(Hons) then he would be specializing in only one arts subject like English or History and most of the subjects of his syllabus would be different fields of the main subject that has taken an honors for example an English(Hons) student might be having Classical literature, Contemporary literature, Modern Indian Literature, Modern European Drama and a paper in History, Geography or Political Science.
