what is the difference between b.e. or b.tech.?
Hello Aspirant ,
In India there is no difference between BTech(Bachelors of Technology) and BE(bachelors of Engineering) courses , it is just that some colleges use the term
BTech(IITs , NITs etc ) whereas some colleges use word BE( BITS etc ) , the curriculum is same and almost every thing is same and they are treated as equal during placement as well .
You should choose go for the better college and not worry about BE/BTech .
Hope this helps.
Hello aspirant,
Both BE and BTech cater to theory as well as practical, however, BTech deals more with fundamentals and advanced study in a particular area, while BE stops at fundamental education . The difference is more in the way of delivering the subjects. The first one is the Universities that refer to an Engineering degree as a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and the Institutes which are awarding only Engineering degree that degree is Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech).
Now, which of the two course is more valuable? - Though BE and BTech degrees vary based on structure and motive, they are equally valuable . BTEch is more skill oriented, while BE focuses more on imparting theoretical knowledge.
