What is the difference between b.tech and B.E. and which one is better? Why?
Hello Pranjal,
There is no such difference between the two degrees.
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.): It is the more knowledge-oriented course. More emphasis is laid on the theoretical part and understanding the fundamentals.
Bachelor of Technology (B.TecH): It is the skill oriented course/degree emphasizing mainly on the practical applications rather than the theoretical one.
If a student is more focussed on the Research oriented field and wants to pursue higher education in abroad, he may opt for B.E. degree rather than the B.Tech degree.
The courses are of equal importance. Its just the college and course that matters for the placements.
Good luck!!
