What is the difference between C.S and IT branch which makes c.s #1 and IT prefer no. #2 ?

CS ad IT branches have a slight difference between them . When students thought about these two branches then definitely a question arise in their mind that which branch we should choose ?

Let me clear you , first of all no branch is bad . Every branch has its own benefits . CS(Computer Science) mainly refers to study related to computer , data manipulation, information managemnent , interaction between humans and computers , algorithms etc . It is generally considered to be as software side .Whereas talking of IT (Information Technology) it refers to storage and retrieve of information , information security etc . IT has both software part as well as hardware part .

Now the students prefer CS over IT has main reason of the placement .Th ere is a great demand for software engineers in the industry . You will get also a good job in IT sector , but placement as compared to a CS student is somewhat less .

Computer science is the field wherein you use maths and different computer language to design and develop various algorithms and programs that are required. But IT deals with improving computer activity system operating networks etc.. therefore CS has more demand than IT.
