Hello student,
State is organised under one government by political community. State consists of mandal, thalukas, districts, capital etc. Country consists of States, Union Territory, etc. Nation means Nationality and a large group of people United based on culture, history, language etc. Example, India is a country, India is a nation. Indian is the Nationality and those who are natives of India are called as Indians.
Example of Countries: India, Australia, China, Argentina, Germany etc
Example of States: Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka etc (States of India)
Examples of Nation: Greenland, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Bermuda
