In JEE Main 2019, Paper 1 will be conducted for admission to B.Tech./ B.E. programmes. While Paper 2 will be for admission to B.Arch./ B.Planning programmes as offered by the participating institutes.
You can choose to appear in Paper 1 or Paper 2 or both.

Hello Tushar,
If you qualify Paper I of JEE Main, you will be considered for admission to B.Tech courses offered by NIT+ institutes. However, JEE Main Paper II is for admission to B.Arch courses only.
Interestingly though, for admission to B.Arch courses offered by IITs, you must qualify JEE Main Paper I. Then you have to qualify JEE Advanced (appear in both paper I and II) and then qualify AAT exam.
