what is the expected cut off of iit advance .
Saiarun no one in the world can accurately predict the cut-off of JEE Advance exam because it is a total relative phenomenon which depends on many factors such as the difficulty of paper, your performance, performance of other students who have given the paper. These factors make the cut-off change drastically every year. According to the experts view this year exam was relatively a little difficult than last year so it is expected that cut-off which was 128 marks for a general category student to go down this time.
Although let me tell you one more thing as the scenario has been changed that 50,000 students are allowed to sit for the counselling but there are only around 11,000 seats in all the IITs which shows that clearing the cut-off never assure you to get a seat in any IIT. To get a seat in any of the IIT you need to score much higher than cut-off and get a much better rank.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
The cutoff totally depends on the difficulty level of the advanced paper and what is the level of the answers given by the students . So it might range upto 80 to 90.
