what is the features of B,sc in biotechnology,is this has scope in science field...?

B.Sc in Biotechnology does not have a very good scope in India, but you can expect some average placement. Coming to top colleges, if you belong to TIER 1 colleges, then yes there will be placements, into several pharmaceutical, medical, based companies. But if you fall short, then you will have to go for off campus placements, or change your line.

Some future scopes are as follows:

• You may go for higher studies, like doin M.Sc, MS, or get into some Tier 1 college by clearing IIT JAM. You may try some other universities entrance exams, and get into them like, TIFR, IISER, which are basically research oriented.
• Another scope is that you go for off campus placements, in companies such as CIPLA, or even perfume brands, and much more.
• You may change your line to software engineer, project manager, consultant.
• You may become a Chemist, Cytologist , Doctor , Geneticist, Dairy Technologist, Pharmacist , Plant Biochemist and much more.

Biotechnology is one of the most emerging trends in India, also all over the world. Some of the aspects of Biotechnology are Food nutrition, medicines, healthcare and various other fields, India is very soon to be a main hub for Biotech Industry. It is estimated that Biotech sector in India is estimated to grow by 30.46 percent CAGR by  2025. It creates ample of jobs and which are high paying.
