Yes, SC/ST or other backward classes category students have reservation criteria to secure a seat or during any counselling procedure of state/national level entrance exams.
>> But for the private instituitions/universities there is no such reservation criteria for any category candidates. All are treated equally.
>> However, you can get the releif by securing the scholarships of universities or other entrance exams during admission.
>> Also, if you have not written JEE Mains exam, you can still apply for other entrance exams for government/deemed universities to claim the reservations in admission as well as fee structure.
