Dear IITian!,
The fees for engineering degree varies with each IIT. But generally speaking of all the major IITs, the tution fees is 1 lakh per semester. The hostel and mess feess will be roughly around 25000. Therefore, for four years, the fee may vary between 10-12 lakhs.
