What is the mark One needed to aquire in neet to get a govt medical seat

Neet being only entrance examination for admission to all medical, Dental, and ayush courses, the competition level is high. Now if you belong to general category, then you must aim to score at least 570 marks in Neet if you are applying through state quota. States like Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh etc have higher cutoffs. For all India counselling, the cutoffs are even higher. Scoring above 620 marks can fetch you a government seat through AIQ. However this is just an assumption based on previous few years data. The cutoffs depend on various factors such as number of candidates, highest score obtained etc. This year, 720 is the highest score obtained by any student. So the cutoffs may increase this year. Apart from the qualifying cutoff, there is no fixed cutoff score for getting government seat. But you should aim to score above 600 to be on safe side.
