The maximum number of attempts of JEE mains is 3 consecutive year which include one year of class 12th boards. Now a days images conducted you have 6 attempt of JEE mains. Jee Advance examination have 2 year which include one year of class 12th. Hope this will help you good luck

Students who are appearing for engineering entrance exam as the conducting body in JEE mains 2020 is NTA so there are made several changes. NTA has clarified that the student can appear in JEE mains twice a year in three consecutive years from the year of passing of class 12. So the maximum attempts are 6 in the span of 3 years and no attempts after that . I hope this was helpful
