What is the meaning of 3 attempt in jee? I think if I give Jan and april2019 mains I have only option to give Jan or April 2020 mains exam.

thanks for asking your query as per jee rules of no. Of attempts of mains for max three time is for each candidate,the first attempt begins just after giving the 12th board and next two attempts in drop years .

No, it is not that waht you are thinking. Three attempts means, you can appear for jee mains for three years-firts during 12th appearing , second after 12th pass and third is after that. But all should be consecutive years with 12th board appearing.
