what is the minimum marks to be got in neet 2020 to get a good College if I'm general caste..??
You haven't mentioned the State you are from. But the general formula is that to qualify in NEET, as a Candidate belonging to General Category, you should score 50 percentile of the top NEET score. The cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Each State has its own cut off for General Category. States like Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh have higher cut offs than States like Karnataka, West Bengal, etc. If you are fine with a seat in a Private Medical College, even 400-450 can get you a seat in certain States. But if you prefer GMC, your score should be nothing less than 575. Please do help us with the State you belong to and we shall help you with the ideal marks required.
Dear Aspirant,
From 2020 NEET is going to be merged with AIIMS and JIPMER, the other examination for medical colleges like AIIMS and JIPMER. Therefore, chances are that the cutoffs of the previous academic year might change as well.
However, even if the change is taken into account it will not be affecting the cutoffs by a larger margin, and you can expect to get a good college at 500+ maks in NEET.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
