Since jeemains is a competetive exam the result or cutoff is not decided before the exams , it is totally dependent on the performance of candidates.
Although a perentile score of 83 or above is good enough to be in safe zone.
So you target a percentile of 83+.

Hello dear,
It is expected that the cutoff percentile for general category will be 85 to qualify jee mains, but this figure can vary also, if you bring your percentile above 90 then you will qualify jee mains surely.
