You need to secure the cutoff rank in JEE Main for a particular B.Tech branch, for a particular NIT for admission. You also need to secure at least 75% aggregate marks (General Category) and 65% aggregate marks (Reserved Category) in the qualifying examination or be in the top 20 percentile of your respective class 12th/qualifying examination board.
If you fulfill these requirements, then you can get a seat across NITs.
