Hi. According to the latest updates, JEE Main will be conducted twice in a year (january and April) and it will be a computer-based test. There will be no change in the language, fee or syllabus of the exam. NTA has taken over from CBSE. Candidates can appear in one or both the exam and the better score will be accounted.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2019 twice in a year according to the latest announcement by the MHRD minister Prakash Javadekar.
JEE Main 2019 will be a computer based test to be held from January 6 to 20 and again from April 7 to 21 for undergraduate engineering admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
