what is the pathway for becoming a physician-scientist and please tell me some of the top universities and colleges for physicians scientist????

As you want to become an Physician- scientist so, you have know about what actually a physician –
scientist is.
A physician-scientist is a private with an M.D. degree (with or without other graduate degrees) for
whom research and discovery are a minimum of a serious commitment. Physician-scientists are likely to
spend time during a clinical setting associated with their research, but clinical care isn't their major role.
The pathway are as follow:
Complete MD training then conduct extended research through fellowship training.
Complete MD training then return to grad school to earn a PhD degree.
Complete PhD training then enter school of medicine to earn an MD degree.
Work towards both degrees simultaneously during a dual MD-PhD course of study .
