The minimum percentile you need to score in MHT-CET to get into a good government college is 98-98.5. Yes, this may sound a lot, but that is the competition level today. The cutoff for good engineering colleges in Pune or Mumbai goes above 99 percentile. Anything below 98 is considered as bad. Cutoff's for government colleges like COEP, Government college of engineering (Karad/Aurangabad/Amravati) is above 99.
