1ST IS AIQ WHICH HAVE 50% SEAT OF ALL THE COLLEGES IN INDIA.
2ND IS THE STATE COUNSELING.
IN AIQ THERE ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF REGISTRATION. ONE IS FOR GIVT AND CENTRAL UNIVERSITY COLLEGES AND 2ND FOR DEEMED UNIVERSITY COLLEGES.
THERE ARE A TOTAL OF 12K SEAT IN AIQ ROUND WHICH CONSIST OF BOTH GOVT AND DEEMED UNIVERSITY SEATS.
FURTHER YOU WILL NEED 2000-4000 RANK FOR GOVT COLLEGES SEAT UNDER AIQ AND 12-15K FOR GETTING SEAT IN ANY DEEMED COLLEGES BIT NOT IN DESIRED BRANCH.
BUT IF YOU HAVE A ELIGIBLE SCOR THE YOU CAN TRY FOR PAID SEAT IN TOP DEEMED UNIVERSITY COLLEGES LIKE BVP, DY PATIL, KASTURBA, PIMS, ETC.

YES YO HAVE TO APPLY SEPERATELY FOR AIQ AND THAT TOO YOU HAVE TO DO SEPERATE REGISTRATION FOR DEEMED UNIVERSITY IN SAME ID.
WHILE STATE COUNSELING IS DONE BY STATE GOVT.
