The admission process of NITs is done through JEE Mains Counselling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates shortlisted for the counselling process on the basis of merit list are required to register online in order to participate in the process. Candidates have to fill their choices of institutes during the choice filling process. After which, candidates are finally allotted seats as per their ranks, locked choices and availability of seats.
