Hi.

I think you mean JOSAA Counselling. Here are the details:

You need to visit the official JOSAA Website ( https://josaa.nic.in/WebInfo/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P ) and when the choice filling begins. i.e. 16th October you need to fill in your choices for colleges as well as the course of engineering it offers.

First preference will mean the college and branch you wish to obtain the most and then second preference would be your second choice. Be careful while filling in the choices, take a look at your Common Rank and Category Rank and match them with previous year's cutoff for the college and the branch. For e.g. If Computer Science in NIT Trichy closed at 1000 Common Rank in Round 6 of JOSAA then if you have rank higher than 1000, say 4000, then you will not be able to take admission and the choice allotment will move to your second preference until a match has been made. Until October 25th you can change and save your choices.
