Greetings Arnav,
Computer Science Design is a recent inductee in IIID as it aims in making students skilles in Design and Multimedia.
It also promises to :
1.Make skilled Computer Software developer.
2.Well Devoloped Designer.
3.In depth knowledge about Multimedia.
Since it is a new course so it would be to early about placement and packages, If you want to pursue then surely go for it,Your passion will fetch you your needs.
