what is the radius of crust mantle and core
Sideeq, The Earth is composed of 4 different layers. Once the Earth has cooled, the heavier metals sank to the centre and lighter materials rose above. That is the reason the crust is made of rock like basalts and granites whereas the core consists of nickel and iron. Now we live on the Crust. The mantle is hotter and has the ability to flow. Now the mantle is the layer located directly under the sun. It is the largest layer of the Earth with a thickness of 1800 miles. The Core of the Earth is llke a ball of hot metals. We have Outer Core and Inner Core. The Outer Core is so hot that all the metals are in liquid State. The Inner core of the Earth has great temperatures and measures that all the metals squeeze together and vibrate in place as solid. The Inner core has a radius of about 1220 kilometers. The mantle has a radius of 2900 kilometers.
Hello!
The Earth is composed of different layers. These layers are:-
1. Core
2. Mantle
3. Crust
*The core which is approximately 7000 kilometers in diameter (3500 kilometers in radius) and is located at the Earth's center.
*The mantle which surrounds the core and has a thickness of 2900 kilometers.
*The crust floats on top of the mantle. It is composed of basalt rich oceanic crust and granitic rich continental crust.
ThankYou!
Hope this will be helpful for you!
