Osmania university is the top best university in Telangana state. Being a diploma student, to get seat in osmania university for btech you need to get rank below 50  in ts ecet.

State government had already  decided last year  to decrease the seats for diploma lateral entry students to 10 percent from 20 percent.

So, you have only 10 percent of seats for each branch in any college. In those 10 percent seat there will be different Reservations like caste, girls quota, physically handicap etc.

So if you are other than sc or st caste you have to work very hard. You can only get seat if your rank is below 50 to 40.

As to get good marks in ecet, as you are mechanical student focus mostly on maths.

And prefer chand text book, as most of questions last year were from this book for your ecet exam.
