What is the right decision to take after less mark in jee main

Since NTA will be conducting the exam twice from the next year. You can attempt both the exams in the next year. Even if you get less marks in the first attempt, you can work even more hard and then appear for the next attempt.

There are other insitutes - apart from NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs - that also offer admission on the basis of JEE Main scores. So, you may try there. Check here - https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/state-btech-admissions-through-jee-main

Another option is to appear in other entrance exams - like MET, VITEEE, AEEE, SRMJEEE, etc. Many of the participating institutes of these exams are well regarded.
