what is the solid state? and what is dipole?
Solid state is a state of matter in which the particles present are arranged in a manner such that they are really close to each other, with a definite volume, mass, and shape.. These constituent particles can be composed of atoms, molecules or ions. Examples of Soild State include bricks, coins, etc
In chemistry, a dipole is basically a bond or molecule whose ends have opposite charges. So, it usualy involves a separation of charges within a molecule between two covalently bonded atoms or atoms that actually share an ionic bond as well. For example, a water molecule (H 2 O) is considered a dipole.
Hope this helped!
