To make the most of the syllabus, you must segregate the syllabus into smaller units and allot preparation time and make a strategy to tackle the difficult topics.
Also, check the weightage of marks for each topic and prepare accordingly. For example, if a topic carries very low weightage compared to another, you must make sure not to spend lot of time on the former. Also, when solving problems, don't repeat the sample over and over again, instead pick different questions as it will build your analytical ability and build confidence. Another thing you must do when tacking each topic in the syllabus is solving problem sets related to the topic. This way your learning will stay with you much longer and you don't have to worry about frequent revision.
