What is the total fee for one year for state quota student
See the fee structure varies depending upon the admission to which college has been taken if you are from the private college than your college fee would be like some what in 7-9 lakhs per annum means for just one year and if you're college is a government college than your yearly fee structure will be some what 60k to 70k per year this is really the most cheapest fee ever if you're I deemed college than yours yearly fees is in 20lakhs.
hi , ashish it could vary among colleges, for instance the fee structure through state quota in pondicherry colleges are 300000 per annum and its also as low as 40000 in many govt colleges in tamil nadu , and in jipmer the fee structure is around 10000 per annum,so it all varies, if you have any further queries about any particular college, please just lemme know and i would be happy to help, good luck
No problem Ashish. Feel free to ask questions anytime.
Regarding your second question, in terms of private medical colleges in Uttarakhand, your options include Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Science, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences and Sridev Suman Subharti Medical College, all based in Dehradun.
There is a huge controversy currently underway regarding the fee amount for these colleges. As per an Uttarakhand Government Order passed this year, the annual fees for state quota seats at each of these colleges were fixed at Rs. 4,00,000 and for the management quota seats at Rs. 5,00,000. However, the colleges are currently fighting this in court as they want to charge higher fees. Pending the judicial verdict, there is a chance that the fees will go upto anywhere between Rs. 13,00,000 to Rs. 18,00,000 per annum at each of these colleges.
With regard to cut offs for these colleges, for Unreserved male candidates from Uttarakhand, the required marks as per NEET 2017 to gain admission to each of these colleges is as given below:
-
Sridev Suman Subharti Medical College – 360 marks out of 720
-
Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Science s – 450 marks out of 720
-
Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences – 455 marks out of 720
Hope this information helps you! Good luck!

Hey Ashish!
You have mentioned that you are interested in knowing the fees for the State Government Quota seats in MBBS courses offered by the the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand (HNBU) Medical University in the state of Uttarakhand.
I would like to first point out here that the HNBU University is primarily an affiliating University and does not offer MBBS courses of its own. It is however the body which oversees admissions to the three Government medical colleges located in the state of Uttarakhand to which you can apply as a State Quota student. The three colleges are:
- Government Medical College, Haldwani
- Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Govt. Medical Sc. & Research Instt, Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal
- Doon Medical College, Dehradun
Now as per the Uttarakhand State Government Rules, there are
two types of fee structures
which MBBS candidates interested in applying for State Quota seats in either of the above mentioned 3 colleges can apply for.
Given the acute shortage of MBBS doctors in the hilly regions of the state, the Government allows State Quota candidates to pursue their MBBS course at any of the above mentioned colleges for a fee of
Rs. 40,000 per annum
(to be paid for 4.5 years). However, this is subject to signing a bond at the time of admissions, via which you will have to serve as a medical officer or doctor at any Government or Health Centre located in hilly regions of Uttarakhand for a minimum of 3 years after completing your course. If you wish to pursue a MD/MS immediately after MBBS then you will have to start your 3 years of service immediately after completing that.
If you do not wish to serve as per these conditions, then you can opt out of signing the bond and pay the full fees of
Rs. 4,00,000 per annum
(for 4.5 years) while pursuing your MBBS as a State Quota candidate in either of these 3 colleges.
If you wish to know any more details, feel free to let me know. Hope this information was helpful. All the best!
