What is the use of nptel in b.tech

Dear Aditya, nptel provides you a series of videos and online courses for free so that you can gain knowledge. In the world of technology and everything revolving around videos, IIT and IISC are offering online courses and certifications. This helps those candidates who cannot get into an IIT or an IISc but can pursue a course, take an exam and get a certification. For example, I couldn't get into Harvard so I got a few certifications from Harvard University after taking up a few courses and this helped when I started applying for jobs. This will add weight to your CV when you are pursuing your job. As how it can help you during the course of your B.Tech, as the videos are not as long as the classroom lectures and stress on important topics, you can always learn the gist of the subject that you find difficult to tackle in the real world.
