What is tnea exam how to apply and what are the university take this exam and what as the portion

TNEA is not an entrance exam. It is a counelling process for admission into courses in Anna University.The admissions are based on TNEA counselling that will be held tentatively in the 1st week of May. This is the process of admission for 563 participating Institutions for Engineering and Technology courses. You need to register online for admission and the merit list will be prepared by the marks scored in your highest qualification in 10+2. Once the merit list is prepared, you will have to get your requested documents verified at the suggested facilitation centre. Post that the counselling process will happen and choice filling process will begin. For instances of tie, once you register you will be given a 10 digit random number too.

TNEA is an exam conducted by Anna University for admission in various engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. In order to apply for this exam , you need to have passed class 8 to 12 from Tamil Nadu are eligible. If candidates outside Tamil Nadu have completed class 8 to=12 ,then they need to submit nativity certificate. Wards of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers can also apply. You need to have passed class 12th with 50% aggregate in PCM. The online registration will start from first week of May 2019 till first week of June 2019. 563 institutes participate in this exam.
