In B.A.(Hons.), The student will be required to take some basic courses in semesters one and sixth at the Cluster Innovation Centre to gain competence in core areas such as "Art of Communication", "Innovation Management", "Cultural Diversity in India" and "Legal Literacy". In semesters two to five, students can choose courses from the large variety available in various colleges, under the guidance of a mentor at CIC. Students will be given the freedom to choose courses to specialize in a particular stream such as "Journalism", "Historical Tourism", "Counselling" and "Art and Design". This would equip them to choose appropriate professions for themselves.
The Course Strucure:
I Semester: Core Courses at CIC
3 Core Courses and 2 Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC) to be taught at CIC.
Semesters II to V: Courses at Colleges
3 courses (Core or Elective) in colleges and 1 Elective Course in project format will be taught at CIC in each Semester.
VI Semester at CIC
3 Core Courses and 1 Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) will be taught at CIC.
Total No. of Papers: 25 (Credits to be earned: 142)
24 papers: 6-7 Credits each.
01 paper: 2 Credits – Environmental Studies

B.A. Honours (Humanities & Social Sciences) offered by Cluster Innovation Centre allows students to draw expertise available in different colleges, unlike traditional courses. Students are to be given the freedom to choose courses to specialize in a particular stream such as
- Journalism,
- Historical Tourism,
- Counseling and
- Art and Design.
This would allow the students wide exposure to different choices and the freedom to choose appropriate professions for themselves as the course allows the students an opportunity to design their own degree. The total No. of Papers one will study in three years is 25 which will also include courses such as Ability/ Skill Enhancement Courses.
