What is your opinion about studying abroad after the present coronavirus situation?
The current Covid and post covid situation has created a new form of challenge for internationalisation based on mobility. Mobility of all kinds is going to be affected for the next 3 to 5 years possibly. Not just in terms of access to visa, processes but the entire thinking and attitude of international universities will also change.
Being a part of an international education system, I do believe that this is the time when Indian students should remain in India. As far as law is concerned, even before Corona I believed that there is absolutely no question of going abroad for your fundamental basic law studies. Indian legal education experience will actually give you better standing in the world than ever before. So, your first law degree should be in India which can be followed by going abroad and also by then the world would have been recovered by corona.
