What kind of exams should I take to get into railway? Pls mention them also.

Railways recruits On the basis of two exams

• RRB- group c and group D post
• UPSC- Group B and A post .

There are various exam through which you can hold junior engineer post in railway field.One of the most important exam among them is ESE(Engineering service examination) which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public service and commission).ESE is only for such students who are pursuing B.tech in EE,ECE,EEE.ME and CIVIL Engg.Every year ,ESE held.And other one is RRB JEE ,you can also go through this exam.

First, I want tio make you clear that there are a lot of ways to get in railways at different posts. In indian railways posts are divided into different groups based on qualification .

GROUP A: people with graduation in civil ,mechanical,electrical  and  other can join railways by qualifying exam conducted by UPSC india.

GROUP B: people from GROUP C are further promoted to GROUP B based on thier performance and other curriculum .

GROUP C: for group C you should be  graduate or having a diploma for job like JE ,SO,SSE etc. RRB conducts exam for such posts

GROUP D: for group D minimum qulaification is  12th standard. the post in such group are not so good one but the point is that the job i s govt.

So, decide your group and course of intrest based on your qualification. fill the form and go for further information.

to enter into railway stream,you can give following examinations:

special class railway apprentices exam:

for this exam,the candidate must have passed in their +2 or any intermediate exam with minimum 50% of aggregate marks.they should have studied physics/chemistry with maths as compulsory subjects.

railway assistant loco pilot exam:

this exam is for the candidates who are wish to start their career as a loco pilot.this exam need huge effort from the candidate side to clear it.

railway ticket checker exam:

the demand for this ticket checker posting is increasing day by day.the aspirant can participate in this exam in any exam centre in country.

assistant station master-exam:

for this post,you should be graduated from any  recognized institution/university under any stream.if you get selected,then the training will be given to you.if you need to extra qualified,then you can do diploma in railway transport and management.

railway officer's examination:

the exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for following posts:

• Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE)
• Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE)
• Indian Railways Accounts Service (IRAS)
• Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS)
• Indian Railway Store Service (IRSS)

the important thing is you should be updated with the job vacancies and offers,exam-pattern for each exam,syllabus etc.for this,you should follow or subscribe any job portals like naukri., or any job channels on youtube.please check their official website regulary,
