Mainly in JU they require 55% or above marks to study civil engineering. But the competition is hard these days so cut off varies.

Wbjee is West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. This exam is for the students who are from West Bengal and want to study with various  undergraduate programmes in colleges which are in West Bengal.
Wbjee consist of two papers Paper 1: Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2: Math.
Paper 1 consist of 40 questions each from Physics and Chemistry. And Paper 2 consist of 75 questions from Math.
Total marks : 200
Now you want to get admission in Civil Engineering in Jadavpur University. For that you have to score 170 approximately if you are from general category. But if you are from SC then you have to score above 110 and if you are from ST then you need only 60 - 65 marks.

The cut-off rank for general - 727
The cut-off rank for SC - 6457
The cut-off rank for ST - 25854
