what need to be done before joining ba economics
Dear Fida Fathima V P,
Glad to hear that you are interested in Economics. Certainly, you can choose to study Economics as your fifth/ sixth paper in 10+2. It'll help you in getting a fair idea of the subject before you choose the same in your graduation.
Talking about any specific course, you need not to essentially go for that. However, if you wish, you may buy a few books including the Microeconomics and Macroeconomics or read journals on Indian Economy.
These will help you in building interest in the subject and later understanding the subject deeply so that you fetch good marks too.
Taking interest in a subject does half of the task, the rest is done when you catch hold of the subject,
Feel free to ask. When you ask, you intend to know, you intend to learn, you intend to build your knowledge.
Thank you.
Before BA economics there is no requirement to do any such course. You can simply join this course. Some universities might take an entrance while others might take admission merit based.
After the graduation, you can prefer some short term courses to enhance your knowlegde and skills.
You can aim at completing the degree first.
