If you had basic maths in Class 10th, you can usually take purse science stream as PCB in your Class 11th. Generally, schools have a range of giving science to students with at least 60% to 75% marks although there is no minimum requirement defined by any board.

So try to keep 75% in your Class 10th and you are good to go.

If you want to take your science in your class 11th and if you are taking basic maths in 10th you should get percentage around 50% to 60 percentage to get pure science in your  class 11th based on the school this percentage will also very some of your top school may require higher percentage

If you have taken basic maths in 10th and you have to operate pure science in 12th you have to score atleast 50-60% generally to get the science stream in your 11th and 12 th but in some school it might be different so for the accurate and detailed information about the same pls mention your school and board name thankyou .

If you take Basic Maths in Class 10, you can still opt for the Science Stream (Pure Science / PCMB / PCMC) in Class 11, but it will depend on the admission policy of your school. Most school admissions for Science require students to have at least 60–65% overall in Class 10, while some reputed schools may require a 70–75% or higher in an overall aggregate and good scores in Science and English specifically. As Basic Maths students do not have an default Mathematics option in Class 11 in CBSE, then you will need to check with your school whether you will be allowed to upgrade to Standard Maths, or be provided with Science with Biology without Maths.
