what power did prospero posses

Hello,
Prospero possessed some supernatural power. He had released many good souls incarcerated by a sorceress called Sycorax. This shows his kind and beautiful nature. He brought up his daughter as a soft- hearted lady.
Prospero's highest power was his capacity to impress people into doing what he wanted. Prospero controls every event in the play without actually flourishing any particularly strong powers himself.
