what rank should I get in eamcet to get free seat
Hello aspirant,
The Ts EAMCET standards state that a candidate can only be eligible for a free seat if his rank is less than 10,000. Furthermore, the annual income listed on your certificate should not exceed two lacs.
Additionally, the government provides a 96,000 annual refund for SC and ST candidates.
Thank you
Hello,
To get a free seat through the EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test), typically under the convener quota in government or top private colleges, your rank should ideally be below 10,000 for most engineering branches in popular colleges.
For highly sought-after courses and colleges, like JNTU Hyderabad or Osmania University, a rank below 5,000 is usually necessary.
However, cutoffs vary by category (OC, BC, SC, ST) and the specific course you’re applying for. For medical and agriculture courses, securing a much lower rank is required due to high competition.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
The rank would have to be quite competitive to get a free seat under the government quota by way of appearing through the EAMCET exam, especially considering you are looking at one of the best engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. Generally speaking it can be put like this:
General Category: You'd normally have to score somewhere around 10,000 below your rank to be in with a good chance of getting a free seat in one of the well-established government colleges or one of the top private colleges.
BC, SC, ST: They can get free seat normally in one of the categories 20,000-40,000 ranks depending upon specific category and competition of the year.
Local Region Benefit: As for students from the local region have a bit easy cut-off compared to the non-local students.
Try to rank in the top 10,000 of the list as a whole and to use the most exhaustive use of category and locality in the application for an unconditional seat.
