First fix a proper timetable for study. Then start reading basic books like NCERT to clear your concepts. You can stat some other books like HC VERMA,RD SHARMA,OP TONDON,RC MUKHERJEE and many more.Practice these books as much as you can.
Good luck.
Hi Shanu,
NCERT books are the most preferred for CBSE students. Even for exams like JEE and NEET, the NCERT books are prescribed. After you are done reading these books, you may move ahead and go for other reference books that are available in the market. This will enhance your preparation level. (If you could specify which subjects you are talking about, we might as well find out and tell you the names).
After covering your syllabus, you should also download previous years' question papers and sample papers that are available online. You will find them in Careers360's sample paper store . get back to us with exactly what you are searching for, in case you don't find them.
Here are a few tips that might come handy:
- Cover your Board's syllabus first and clear the basic concepts
- Prepare a time table - Give equal time to all subjects, keep time for practising sample papers everyday (self-analysis), keep time for working on weak areas
- Before starting with the studies, make sure you know the exam pattern and the weightage that each section of the paper carries
- Take breaks. Do not over-burden yourself.
- Group studies are very helpful. Join your friends and help each other
- When practising question/ sample/ model papers, try to solve it within the allotted time to improve speed and accuracy.
