what should be last 1 week strategy to get maximum marks in Mht-cet? plz suggest me...
Hey aspirant,
Since the candidates must have been preparing for the entrance for 6 months - 1 year prior to the entrance exam they are quite familiar with the pattern and syllabus of MHT CET. So, in the last week they just have to do a strategical revision to get maximum help during the entrance.
There will be two sets of questions for MHT CET :- i) maths/biology ii) Physics + chemistry.
Total marks for each set will be 100 , there will be 50 questions asked from each subject. Marks allotted for each question will be 2 marks in Mathematics and 1 mark in Physics and Chemistry. Note that there will be no negative marking, so you don't need to be very sure before answering and try to answer all the questions.
For the last minute preparation, try to give more emphasis on your class 12th standard syllabus as 80% weightage is given on class 12 and 20% on class 11.
Here are few strategies you can follow sequentially :-
1) Make a list of the important chapters and go through them first. There are several chapters in the Syllabus but for the last minute do not go through everything in equal depth, else it may be confusing for you. Like in Chemistry the inorganic, organic, thermodynamics parts are important. For mathematics, conics sections are the most important.
2) Go through the portions you feel you are weak in. Practice the chapters in which you are not much confident.
3) Take frequent mock tests, try to solve the mcqs in the least possible time and as efficiently as you can. Correct your own answers this will instill the concepts more in you.
4) Understand how much time you should give in solving a particular type of question- time management is the key.
5) Solve previous year's question papers- they are the latest source to give you an idea about the exam pattern, the difficulty level of the questions, weightage given to different sections of the subjects and will boost your confidence that plays a key role at the instant of the exam.
6) Try to make a table of the formulas and equations that will help you to solve a question in minimum steps and in the fastest possible way.
Lastly, don't panic just keep yourself focussed you can surely score well!
Hope this helps,
All the best!
