To secure a rank below 3400 you need to score above 96.111 percentile. To get the mentioned percentile your marks should be above 145.With this rank you will have high chances of getting new NITs and GFTIs.

generally it is very difficult to predict the marks with respect to ranks as ittotally depends on the examination, type of questions asked and your percentile. But if we look at some of the past few records of JEE mains, we can say that a score of 140-145 out of 360 fetches 30k-35k rank.
