Apart from cutoffs, There are various criteria for shortlisting and selection after clearing CAT with good score such as past academic records, Extra curricular activity, work experience etc. After CAT exam every college prepare a merit list to call students for interview and WSAT round which is based on your aggregate score.
If you are aiming to get admission in top IIMs then try to scre more than 99 percentile & for other top B School like FMS Delhi it should be around more than 98 percentile & MDI Gurgaon it should be more than 95 percentile. You can also check the previous year cutoff with given below link.
