what should i do for optometry (govt)in kolkata or other state???

There are many options to study optometry. Many universities in India offers diploma, certificate, bachelor, master & Ph.D courses in Optometry.

• You can do BSc in optometry. It is a 3 year undergraduate course. Here you can learn contact lenses, vision therapy, sports vision, ocular disease, et cetera
• Candidate must have completed 10+2  from a recognized board of education from any state.
• You can apply for your desired college. Check the official website of your desired college and get to know about the forms.

There are many college in Kolkata offering optometry like-

• Vidyasagar college of optometry and vision ( VCOVS )
• The neotia university

Even AIIMS Delhi offers optometry. Some colleges conduct exam while some take admission on merit based.
