What should i prepared at home ..for my nift entrance exam... accept books ..?? Is there anything for prepared? Like sketches..etc

If you are really passionate about design as your career then you won't regret your decision of preparing for nift.
Nift exam is decided in to three parts .
First two are gat and cat.
Gat includes english ,maths reasoning and general knowledge,you can refer to any book for covering these topics.
For cat you need to put some extra efforts .
First of all go through the previous year papers ,by doing so you will know ,what type of questions are being asked in the exam.
